My husband has just recovered from a crisis

It's such a relief when he is better. He had a major pain episode in his elbow to shoulder, using Dilaudid to relieve the pain every 4 hours. Finally the pain let up the other day, and we could focus on continuing with our lives. We have 3 kids, one a baby, and a sickle cell crisis makes life with the kids and our jobs pretty difficult. I believe sickle cell disease is very limiting, and this blog is to help others cope, and also to help us cope.
